We asked twenty strangers to kiss for the first time.... Filmmaker gets 20 strangers to make out on YouTube with awkward results.. Many volunteers repeatedly ask whether the camera is rolling and whether they should just go for it, psyching themselves up for the matter at hand.
The video seems to have had a medicinal effect on viewers, many of whom said it had "made their morning". "A fruit salad of emotions! A little funny, awkward and touching," one wrote, with another adding: "I love videos that show such vulnerable true human emotion."
Um, wow. I don't know if it's the song selection or because it's in black and white or the fact that everybody in this video is so attractive, but what started out as incredibly awkward—seeing two strangers meet each other and kiss—turned into something pretty damn beautiful. The premise of the video, called First Kiss and directed by Tatia Pilieva, was to get 20 strangers and have them kiss each other for the first time. It gets electric.
It's cute to see the strangers be all hesitant at first (as most sane and sober people would be!) but once they go for it, it's like watching fireworks, man (as cheesy as that is). It is so unexpectedly touching. Free kisses for everyone!

This Man Is Absolutely Amazing. By The End I Was In Tears!!!
Meet Naryanan Krishnan, an Indian man who was so moved by the plight of the homeless suffering in his home country that he quit his job to find ways to assist them. It's impossible not to be moved by this hero.
Narayanan Krishnan (born 1981) is an Indian chef turned social worker. He quit his career as a leading chef and began supplying meals to the homeless in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, beginning in 2002.
Krishnan was born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He was an award-winning chef with Taj Hotels, Bangalore and was short-listed for an elite job in Switzerland. During a visit to his family, before heading to Europe, he said, "I saw a very old man, literally eating his own human waste out of hunger. I went to the nearby hotel and asked them what was available. They had idli, which I bought and gave to the old man. Believe me, I had never seen a person eating so fast, ever. As he ate the food, his eyes were filled with tears. Those were the tears of happiness."
Krishnan founded his nonprofit Akshaya Trust in 2003. Every day, he wakes up at 4 a.m., cooks a simple hot meal and then, along with his team, loads it in a van and travels about 125 miles (201 km) feeding the homeless and mentally-disabled in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to 400 indigent and elderly people in Madurai. He carries a comb, scissors and razor and is trained in eight haircut styles that, along with a fresh shave, provide extra dignity to those he serves. Out of 10,000 nominations from more than 100 countries, he is selected as one of the Top 10 in "CNN heroes 2010" list.
After witnessing homeless people starve in the streets of his home country, a chef quits his job and dedicates his life to help them.
